Red, Blue and White rooms

The Red and Blue rooms are both identical in size and are suitable for up to 5 musicians. The white room is a larger room and doubles up as a recording studio with control room and vocal booth, it holds 7 musicians comfortably. The rooms all have Yamaha 800w stereo PA heads with 8 XLR inputs, 2 high Hz inputs for electro acoustics, digital effects, phono send and returns and two Yamaha 15” speakers. There are 2 industry standard SM58’s in each room with stands and leads. Hartke 120w 15” wedge for Bass. We have Marshal, Laney, Fender and Peavey the guitars. For drums we have installed the new birch Mapex range. The kits sound great, and hardware is provided apart from sticks and cymbals.

Techy bit now - the rooms are all detached, so low end sound from each room is reduced to a minimum. The walls are made up of sandwiched plasterboard, rubber and RockWool. For sound damping the rooms have acoustic panels on the inside walls.
